Today’s post celebrates the 14th of February, or Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re in a relationship or not, the idea of a day dedicated to sharing the love is a pretty one, and so I did have a proper post planned out to celebrate it, with some shots of some of Pandora love charms from my own collection and some Valentine’s bracelet inspiration.

However, life has done that annoying thing it often does and just kept getting in the way! Consequently, I have simply not had the time to do this. Instead, I’ve decided to take a look at some of Pandora’s styling of the new Valentine’s 2014 collection, and some of the prettiest designs on the net right now! The other post will hopefully be up some time next week. ^^ I also recently did a post on my Top Ten Valentine’s Day charmsso you can always check that out too!

Pandora’s Campaign Images For Valentine’s 2014

Pandora have gone for pink this Valentine’s Day, and in a big way. Their campaign images offer a bright pop of colour.

For those in the UK, Pandora are currently offering a competition on Instagram to win a set of the new Valentine’s 2014 rings. :D

Style_guide_VAL14_14 I like the contrast between the soft, delicate pinks of the Valentine’s charms and the more minimalist look of the black leather bracelet in the following shot. I own a couple of the leather bracelets, but I have never put that many charms on them; however, my OH’s mother just bought herself one to wear with quite a few charms, and made it look great. I might be doing some more posts on styling the leather bracelets soon, so watch this space!

Style_guide_VAL14_13The new Valentine’s Twist of Fate ring matches well with the In My Heart pave set. Style_guide_VAL14_12 The Pandora bangle suits openworks – I recommend using openwork charms especially on the bangle, as it reduces the amount of scratching. <3Style_guide_VAL14_11Pavé charms of course make an appearance in a Pandora design! This bracelet showcases some of the sheer variety of heart charms available in Pandora’s collection. Meanwhile, there’s an interesting combination of the new Me & You dangle and the red leather bracelet – I’m not sure about that particular colour combination, but it’s certainly creative!Style_guide_VAL14_10
Here, we have some of my favourite jewellery pieces from the collection. The silver locket is one of the only pieces of non-charm Pandora jewellery that has very seriously tempted me… if only it wasn’t so much up front!Style_guide_VAL14_03

Pandora Valentine’s 2014

I’ve also uncovered some absolutely stunning shots of the new Valentine’s collection on Instagram. I’ve collated some of the best here – I find that the collection overall has really grown on me, and I’ve seen some beautiful designs produced with the new charms.

4 Comments on Valentine’s Inspiration!

  1. My husband bought me the pave heart, my first name initial, and the safety chains with hearts. Really love my bracelet, a gift from my mother in law for Christmas!

    • Aww, that’s a lovely selection of charms. I love both the hearts safety chains especially. ^^ It’s nice that your mother-in-law gave you your bracelet – I love it when several people have helped you build it! My OH gave me the Love Note charm, which is my favourite from the new Valentine’s collection. :)

  2. My husband bought me the pave ball with pink hearts charm, looks lovely on my bracelet – I am building a purple with a dash of pink theme! I have 4 bracelets, one is a leather triple wrap, just seen your post on charms on leather and I think they suit the single leathers more than the wrapped. They tend to pull down on the double and triple…. Maybe I should invest in a single ;-). My newest addition is an oxidised bracelet which just has the British heart foundation charm plus my children’s initials, I love it. Love pandora! Have a minor obsession!!!

    • Oh, that sounds lovely! <3 Your oxidised bracelet sounds really striking, too – I bet the cubics really stand out against the darker chain.
You could be right about the leathers – I have a couple of charms on my triple leather wrap, and I find that okay, but I've never really worn them with more. I need to have a play around and do a post on what I find! :)
Aha, don't we all! If I'd known how many charms I was going to end up with when I got my first bracelet… well. ;) I remember telling my OH that I was only going to fill up the middle section, of which he likes to remind me often!
