The launch of the Pandora Summer 2016 collection is getting ever closer, and I’m following up my recent high-quality preview of the collection with some detailed live shots and beautiful campaign images in this post! :)
The collection is due out on the 2nd of June and features the usual tropical beachy themes, accompanied by some more unusual oriental charms. There are some stunning individual pieces in this release, and I am really looking forward to getting started on Summer reviews!

Pandora Summer 2016 Live Shots
First of all, we have a great selection of live close-up images: these photos are published with the very kind permission of Patty Wu; please do not reproduce them without permission/credit!
Most of the beads seem pretty true to their stock images, and there aren’t too many real surprises here. I particularly love the bright reds; the Oriental Bloom dangle looks nicer in person than I originally thought.
The Pandora Club Charm for 2016 has been a hit with collectors, meeting with a very positive response! This is another of my collection ‘must-haves’.
And last, but not least – the lovely Flower Garden muranos! You can really see the extent of the variation between different examples in this image. I’m not too surprised to see this, seeing as there’s so much detail in this charm and they are all handmade. I think I will probably try and end up with two slightly different ones, as I think all the different variations look rather nice!
Pandora Summer 2016 Campaign Images
I also have some new campaign images from the collection for some extra inspiration!
This one in particular is lovely, and a great look at some of the new blue beads in a natural light (click to enlarge it). If you zoom in, you can see what a pretty, crisp minty-blue the new leather bracelet is. It looks great with the new Parrot!
Next up, we have a series of Pandora’s official campaign bracelet stylings. I notice that they’ve put red beads on the honeysuckle pink leather, which is exactly what I wanted to do with mine; encouragingly, it looks rather nice!
Finally, we have some beautiful extra images of the new charms. The Frosty Mint murano is one I am dying to see in person. I have the perfect bracelet idea for it, providing it is a delicate soft blue/grey as it is here. Fingers crossed!
My Comment
This was kind of part 2 of my updated Pandora Summer 2016 preview; all the colours in this collection are so vibrant and beautiful that it’s great to have a close-up look at all the new charms! The Flower Garden murano stands out by a long shot; it looks prettier and prettier in every photo I’ve seen. The Frosty Mint murano has also caught my eye, and I’ll be looking for it in the shop when it comes out to see what colour it really is.
Otherwise, the two silver animals look just as cute in the live shots, and the Club charm also looks to be a beauty. :D

Collection is beautiful but not the price. I love the starfish and want to add it to my summer bracelet collection but 129.00 YIKES have they gone up in price. I know there is inflation but what a bump up in prices.
Those were prices for Singapore – I’ve taken them off now, just to avoid confusion :) USD prices are in my previous preview!
There are so many pretty things from this collection! I wonder if the green in the Flower Garden Murano is going to match last summer’s green leather bracelet? And the Teal Shimmer is yelling ‘Martha! Buy me!!’
Actually, a lady on a Pandora FB page who was lucky enough to already get the Flower Garden Murano posted a picture of the green leather bracelet from last year with this murano on it. It matches perfectly! I am thinking about doing a design around this; although, the murano also looks like it would match very well with the new honeysuckle pink bracelet I will be getting.

There’s some lovely pieces. I like the colour of the leather bracelet, but I don’t think I’ll buy it, as I’m not sure how much I’d wear it and how well they fit. Also I do want to save my money as I know there’s probably going to be lots I like still to come out in the pre Autumn, Autumn, winter and Disney collections this year. I’ve bought quite a bit so far this year, so I’m taking a break for a while. It gives me chance to save.
I really love this season’s leather bracelets and I have a few charms without a home that I want to put on them – so I’m getting both, lol. I’ll do the US promo to get them though! :)
Again a beautiful collection. However, there is getting to be too many pave ones. Like to see more of the plain silver and they are more affordable. A safety chain in the rose gold is needed.
Absolutely – although, with the rate at which they’re retiring the classic silvers, I’m not sure we should hold our breath for any change in direction :(
And yes! A Pandora Rose safety chain would be straight to the top of my wish list :)

Um, I can’t remember the exact dates (I think it starts on the 9th of June), but they are on the promos page for 2016 :) there should be a pre-sale, there usually is!
Yey live shots! I liked this summer collextion from day 1 and by the pix above I was not wrong. Wow the two silver Anjmals really seem like the older style of Pandora ( that is a good thing btw) can’t wait for the elephant to bring me some good luck haha.
I like that the new garden Murano appears to have so much variation from one piece to the next, look how red the middle one is as opposed to the pinker ones on entire side. I also like the club charm much more in the pix above that I did before so who knows I may consider getting that although to be honest I have no place for it now :( also for some reason I do not like the way the parrot looks and feel they misses the mark on that one. Ellie is there any summer pieces you will get that you were not consisting before ? ;);)
I really like the variation in the Flower Garden murano as well! It’s not like any of them are better than the other for me, so it would be fun to choose two that are a little different from each other… that way it’s not quite the same bead :) there are some muranos where I’d want them to match exactly, but these look nice with a little variation!
The Club charm does look super pretty! I also have a place marked out for it, so there’s no excuse for me not to get it ;) I have not changed my mind on my wish list based on these pictures, but you never know – something might catch my eye in store!
Wow yes the long awaited flower garden for me can’t wait. I will be trying to get a predominantly red one. They are so beautiful. I love the club charm as well. I wouldn’t normally buy a heart charms as a rule but I love all the heart details on it.
I have also just bought Tropicana in the sale and the club charm would work well with that as quite an art deco look I think.
Any price for the club charm and flower garden yet for the UK Ellie? And a Euro price if you have it?
I like all the variations of the Flower Garden murano, so I’ll probably try and get one with a lot of flowers and one with more pink/red in it :D
Pairing with the Club charm with the Tropicana would be a rather unusual and totally awesome look! I will have to try that!
I don’t have prices for the UK yet, no. In Europe, the Club charm will be 59 euros and the Flower Garden will be 39 euros. :)
I love the flower garden murano. I am going to look for a more pinky variation of that one. I’m starting over on my pandora, sadly I lost the one I just got back in March. Lost it somehow on a business trip. Even though I picked it out it was a gift from my hubby as he ended up giving me the money back after I bought it. I was so proud and excited. I’m looking forward to starting over. Next time it stays home on business trips. I thought I had put it in my luggage and then when I got home it wasn’t there, at least I hadn’t invested too much in it at that point. Overall I’m still just as excited.
So sorry to hear that…Hate to say it, but there is a lot of theft at airports now that TSA searches bags. Next time,*please* carry it in your purse or wear it!
Oh I Will for sure! I learned the hard way :( it can all be replaced. Thank God it wasn’t my wedding ring or something irreplaceable but I’m sad it was my very first pandora.

Thanks for the lovely pictures. The leather bracelets are very pretty. I like the leather bracelets but I don’t wear the ones I have too much as I worry about them getting ruined. It’s very humid and dirty here so I try to only wear them when I know I will be staying in a relatively clean environment for the day.
The parrot is very cute in the pictures! It’s funny how I said I liked him and the flamingo but not full price then I bought him (I don’t know why but both the parrot and flamingo seem make to me!) for £19 in the sale.
I’m disappointed with the starfish though. The colours look duller than I thought although in the Pandora bracelet design photo it looks brighter but like they have added the contrast up.
I think all the shimmer muranos are very pretty. I think my end goal with Pandora once I’ve bought all of my wishlist might be buying different colour muranos so I can change my bracelet colour design to match my outfit. I don’t seem to be liking a lot of the new silver beads in each collection so my wishlist is getting shorter.
I just wear all my Pandora as and when, including the leathers – unless it’s actively chucking it down outside, haha. I tend to just wear and enjoy and hope for the best ;) My leathers have worn really very well, I’m pleased with them!
Aha, a lot of the animals seem either male or female to me too! I will get the urge to refer to them as such in reviews and often forget not to ;) They both seem like boys to me too. Lisa further down in the comments said that the Starfish is as pale in person – very disappointing, as the stock image makes it seem very vibrant. I see what you mean about the Pandora stock image, I guess the colour is enhanced.
There aren’t too many silver beads to like in each new collection, either! I like the new silver animals in this collection a lot – I prefer them to the cake pop animal heads they’ve been doing recently.
Like many others, I think there are a lot of nice beads, but I likely won’t get any of them. I will strongly consider the Chinese junk boat and the club charm though. The club charm looks like it would look great alone on a leather bracelet, just like the Filled with Romance bead looked so good on your dark blue leather bracelet. The flower garden murano looks like it’ll look really good on the new pink honeysuckle leather bracelet.
The Junk Boat might be good for the bracelet you’re planning! The only thing I don’t like about it is the CZ bail, which detracts a little from the design for me – especially when compared to the red enamel Lantern, which is so nice and solid.
That’s a nice idea with the Club charm – it’s quite pretty and contemporary-looking, so it would be great for a focal point on a leather!

I am starting to think the red beads are very nice looking, even more so than the teal. I love the flower garden murano and the frosty mint murano. I also think the starfish looks much duller in the live shots…the beads should be here in US by end of next week! Can’t wait!!

Where in the US are you located ? I’m in jersey and was able to see the entire summer collection already ( exemption of the club charm )
I live in NYC. None of the stores have the summer beads yet. They usually get them around 1 week before the official release date. Sometimes earlier, but not usually.
What store do you use Alex?:)
If it’s not too far for you I shop in the Pandora concept stores in northern jersey. Wayne and Paramus :) you can always call ahead and see if they have something specific you are interested in that way you don’t waste your time ;)

Went to Wayne store today. Picked up all the muranos; you have to choose even the shimmer ones by hand because there is so much variation. I also bought the red boat and the fan pave; they were beautiful. Starfish was so pale it didn’t appeal to me at all. I liked the fruit beads, but not enough to buy them. Muranos and boat were the best! Thanks again for the heads up Alex!

It’s white. If they hadn’t labeled it frosty mint you would never think not of calling it that. But it’s really nice!

I have reworked the pastel bracelet I put together last Spring, and now I’m waiting to slip in three Flower Garden muranos to finish it off. The fruits also have a bracelet just waiting for them. I’ll have to see the color of the Oceanic Starfish and Frosty Mint murano before I’ll know what to do with them and all the others that I am considering. I normally am not this excited about the Summer collection, but Pandora hit the target with me this year!

I am putting mine with the green Olive facets from last year’s autumn collection. I’m also rather over-excited for this year’s summer release, which is also unusual for me! The FG murano is just so pretty. :D I’m also hoping the Frosty Mint murano is nice in person, but apparently the colour is very faint when you see it in the flesh…

I believe you are in the GTA area, have you been to Cookstown recently? They have a promo buy 1 ring get 1 retired ring free, and that is any ring. It’s a great promo as I was able to get two gold rings for the price of one.
I saw the promo for the outlet store, but I haven’t made it there yet. What are the prices like? Are they the same as the concept stores?

For current merchandise it’s the same price as concept stores but they sell retired items at a reduced price. I’ve noticed it averages about 30% off. They do promos like the buy 1 get 1 I mentioned so that makes a difference. Worth the trip but call first to see if they have what you want.
If you want to collect retired item 30% to 50% off at outlet store, they have their own promotion policy. I usually go to Cookstown once a month for treasure hurt, never disappoint!

I just got back from Hong Kong this afternoon, I bought Exclusive Suitcase with red cz, Around the World and Airplane as a set Can $153 total when I was on flight back to Hong Kong then Key lock dangle and Lucky pig ( I gave it to my 5 years old niece as a birthday gift already ). Thank you to let me know the ring promotion, I don’t wear ring, save a lot. I wear earring the most, next is bracelet.

I’d love to see more two-tone charms as well! They’ve retired so many. Luckily for me, I’ve just about finished my two-tone bracelet design – but I’d still like to see more new two-tone designs that aren’t hearts!

Thanks again Ellie, love the teal collection, I bought the blue Topaz ring and charm in the sale so feel this will all blend in very well together. For some reason over the years I have not bought any blue charms so looking forward to starting a whole new collection (oh dear!). So I was really excited for the Summer collection and I already splurged on the Essence bracelet promotion at the beginning of the month, so I was determined not to go mad in the UK sales – I was only going to get the pineapple! But today I went to the Pandora shop with my niece and we were looking at the beautiful gold Essence beads which were half price. We couldn’t resist – we each bought the sensitivity bead! It really is gorgeous, we were so pleased! But this has severely limited my summer spending! I remember you saying Ellie that the Summer charms will be around for a while but the sale items disappear quickly, so I am happy with my choice, and I’m still getting my elephant next week! One item that has really caught my eye in the new pictures here is the oriental fan openwork – that is a really lovely charm, and goes so well with the red designs. Can’t wait to see all the new collection in real life soon!
Ah, Sensitivity was the gold Essence bead I was tempted to get as well! In the end, I got another two-tone charm I’d been wanting for ages instead (the beautiful Saturn Flowers) but I’m hoping that Sensitivity will crop up somewhere again some time :)
Absolutely, if it comes down to buying new beads or getting a great deal on an older one that’s soon to be gone for good, I know which I’d pick! I have spent a lot more on older charms recently than new ones, which I’m glad about – especially as Pandora seem to be moving away from their older styles entirely.
I really like the Oriental fan as well! It’s one of my favourite of the new pavé beads :)

I don’t want to spend too much for Pandora if not with promotion, ha! ha! I spend a lot on Trollbead in Hong Kong, there are 7 beautiful concept stores there. I only buy jewelry in person but Trollbead not even have one concept store in Canada. I visited 5 concept stores and spend one transaction from each store for promotion product, I was so happy to have the chance to pick my own Trollbeaf.

Apparently it’s very white and not very blue or mint! :( But if it’s shimmery enough, I will probably get it anyway. I like to balance out my colour muranos with some white glass :)
The frosty mint is white with green shining through. Think fascinating white, but way better. It’s really lovely and the teal one is too. I’m not as taken by the red.

Hi Ellie, Went by Pandora today to pick up my Luminous Elegance Pearl dangle. It is just as lovely as I expected it to be. The Flower Garden Murano had already come in and I got it as well. It is gorgeous. Looks just like live shot images. Out of the eight I compared, only one was
a lighter shade of pink. Looks nice with the Honeysuckle Pink leather bracelet. Oriental Fan is beautiful. Oceanic starfish looks a little washed out to me. The Frosty Mint Murano is very beautiful…a must have for me after seeing in person. It’s definitely more white with a gorgeous shimmery sparkle. Have to really look hard and possibly make out the minty color. Would be so pretty for Christmas, especially with the soft pastels you mentioned earlier.
Looking forward to your Flower Garden designs. Haven’t quite decided what to use with mine yet.

The Frosty Mint murano looks white when seen by itself. The “mint” color becomes apparent when it is placed next to certain other colors. Be sure to check it with the colors you want to use with it. I passed for now, but may reconsider it for winter.

I just saw the summer release at my local Pandora store. The Junk (ship) was beautiful as was the Fan charm. The Starfish was a disappointment (with Sales Ladies agreeing) as the stones are a very light blue & the starfish just blends right into the stones ! The Parrot is also very nice quality.

As “anti-pink” as I am, I really do love that Flower Garden murano. While it isn’t something I’d consider for my own collection, I may purchase it for my sister-in-law. I looked for it for her birthday in early May, but it hadn’t hit stores here in the US yet. She got a vintage letter S instead. There’s always next year, though. She has a rose gold charm or two, and one with the darker raspberry pink enamel, so I think this might be really lovely in combination with what she has. It has pretty colors and really some beautiful detail. It makes me wonder what Christmas will bring. Maybe a gorgeous red poinsettia murano?
