The Pandora Valentine’s Day Collection 2014 launches!

Today sees the global arrival of the Pandora Valentine’s Day collection for 2014! I’m celebrating with a rundown of the whole collection, complete with prices. There has been some confusion as to actual release date for the Valentine’s Day 2014 collection – with some reporting it as the 13th of January and some the 15th. While US online stores were selling by the 13th, this was not true of other regions, and the official release date does seem to be today. It’s amazing how under wraps Pandora is keeping info at the moment – never before has something so basic as a release date been unclear!

This year’s collection features lots of romantic motifs and pink designs, as might be expected from Pandora.

The Collection

Prices are given in GBP and USD.

The Love All Around charm consists of fancy pink cubic zirconia, and will retail for £55 or $65.

The Space in My Heart spacers come in clear and fancy pink cubic zirconia. These will retail for £30 or $35.

The Heart Pavé Ball consists of clear and fancy pink cubic zirconia, and costs £60 or $70.

The ‘LOVE’ dangle has a fancy pink cubic zirconia in it, and will cost you £35 or $45.

The Interlocking Love charm will be a concept-store exclusive in the US, and is retailing for £35 or $50. It seems to be influenced a lot by the popular and HTF Christ charm, which has long been retired.

The Love Note charm is fully articulated, and opens to reveal a little message inside: ‘To my dear Valentine, Will you be mine’. This is retailing for £35 or $50.

The Gift From The Heart charm is one of my favourites from the collection. It’s another articulating charm, opening to reveal a 14 carat gold ring and cubic zirconia jewel. This will retail for £60 or $65.

The Figure Skater is definitely the odd one out in this collection! It is set to retail for £30 or $35.

The Me & You dangle retails for £60 or $75 and features pink enamel and clear cubic zirconia. The two halves of the heart open to reveal pink enamel, with the words ‘Me’ and ‘You’ on each half.

The Sparkling Heart is only currently available as part of a gift set in the US (see below) – it will be released separately with the Spring collection. In the UK, this is the British Heart Foundation charm – 15% of each sale of the charm will go to the charity. This retails for £45.

The Surrounded by Love charm features pink cubic zirconia and is retailing for £50 or $55.

The adorable Cupid charm is a Jared exclusive in the US, meaning that it possibly won’t be available in Canada or other territories such as Puerto Rico. This will cost £50 or $65.

The Wrapped Up In Pandora charm is finally making it to the US, and will be a shop-in-shop exclusive. It is priced at $50.

US Gift Sets

Also starting today in the US are a number of Valentine’s gift sets! These would make a lovely gift for Valentine’s Day – I particularly love the locket and earrings.

My Comment

While I’m not planning on getting any of these charms myself, I think it’s a pretty release from Pandora. Some of the designs are a bit generic to me, but others I think are really cute – particularly the Gift From The Heart, the Sparkling Heart and the Me & You Dangle. The Love Note is also adorable in the fact that it opens! I’ll probably be heading into town later on today, and so I’ll take a little look at the charms then.
